how do i book?

Alternatively if you are not quite ready to book, but would like to know more then I am happy to discuss any aspect of the process with you. The session fee is payable to secure your booking, I accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express & direct bank transfer.

how long do the sessions take?

My sessions typically take around an hour because for most children, one hour of photographs is enough! One reason that clients come back to me is my ability to build quick rapport with their children and get amazing photographs taken before they start to get grumpy, tired or messy! As a mother myself I totally understand!

WHY DON'T YOU USE A STUDIO?

I shoot on location almost all of the time as there is no better backdrop than beautiful Queensland! It is much easier to take the natural, candid photographs that my clients love outside of a stuffy studio setting. The exception to this is newborns, who I prefer to photograph in your home for safety reasons.

WHAT SHOULD WE ALL WEAR?

Many clients will send me photos of their wardrobe choices prior to the session so that I can give my opinion and I am more than happy to give you all the advice you could possibly need!

HOW MUCH DO YOU CHARGE?

ARE YOU AN ACCREDITED PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHER?

I have been an accredited professional photographer with the AIPP (Australian Institute of Professional Photography) since 2015. This means that I have to adhere to professional standards of ethics, safety, continuing education and business practices as well as having a portfolio of my work assessed to ensure that it is of a professional standard.

WHAT AREAS DO YOU TRAVEL TO?

I live on Tamborine Mountain and travel all over the Gold Coast region for family sessions. I am always open to ideas, so if you have an amazing location in mind then let me know! If you live outside of this area, please feel free to contact me as I may be able to travel to you.

do you use props?

My natutal, candid, fun style of photography doesn’t lend itself well to the use of props, except for sentimental items that are meaningful for your family. Feel free to bring favourite toys, balloons, bubble machines or anything that you love!

WHAT IF MY kids can't sit still?

Awesome! I specialise in children who can’t sit still or don’t like having their photo taken – there is a reason you see so many toddlers on my blog!

The only rule for the kids during a session with me is that there are no rules….I love to let them run around, be children and express their natual personalities. I promise that you will prefer this natual, candid style that will show your child’s spirit to a forced school-photo style cheesy smile to the camera!

I have many tricks up my sleeve to get the shots you want!
